A MassArt Project

stur.MassArt is a collaborative visual project made up of photos and videos from students, alumni, faculty, and staff. It’s a place where the entire MassArt community comes together to share their stories, perspectives and ideas — about a variety of topics — using images. By giving everyone this opportunity to express their individual creativity, stur.MassArt gives a big picture look at the college, our community, and what it means to create. And like its name implies, it is constantly changing. Just like art. Take a look.

What's a theme?

We call them themes. You might call them topics. Basically, they’re words, phrases or questions that people respond to. They might be straight forward like, “Where do you find inspiration?” Or more open-ended, such as “Style.” But one thing’s certain — they’re always changing so you’ll always find new images to explore.

Who's involved?

Because stur.MassArt is a constantly-evolving collaboration by the entire MassArt community — students, alumni, faculty and staff — new photos and videos are constantly getting posted – and often by new people. So you can search through all the posting by each individual. Or you can search by theme or major.
