Inside the Box Link

Participants step inside the box for Philippe Lejeune's 'Do you feel connected? That is the question.' The person behind the glass is given every possible means of electronic communication available and yet a thin sheet of glass makes it nearly impossible to truly talk face to face.

Valentine's Card Link

My girlfriend is extremely important to me, and she is often one of the only people to get through to me when I'm in the midst of having a mental break down.
So this year, to show my appreciation, I put my paper making and drawing skills to work. Proves that my work is good for something. :)

The Not-So-Average Librarian Link

Only when you are running on three hours of sleep do true works of art come from the most average of places. Thanks to Christian, whom without her gorgeous legs and sexy-librarian-esque features, would made this image quite impossible to achieve.
I love my friends and their awkwardness.

Today I was down on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain and ran into friends. A good place to hang out is JP Licks and get ice cream. I always try one of their flavors of the month.

We are family Link
Share
While all of the women in my family are close, my sister Lauren and I have a very close relationship. Born only 15 months apart, complete strangers ask us if we are twins -- despite the fact that she’s half a foot taller than I am. My grandmother even made us matching outfits when we were younger. We’ve come a long way from matching velvet dresses (hey, it was the 90’s!), and we’ve only grown closer over the years. She’s an endless source of entertainment and inspiration, and she’s a great sounding board for ideas. She’s encouraging, empathetic, a good listener, and, most importantly, practical -- a quality I do not necessarily posses in great quantities. I can’t even begin to name all of the things we do together, but all are infinitely more fun with her. I’m so lucky to be related to one of my best friends!
This is a picture of us picking pumpkins last October -- I don’t see the resemblance...

Family Link

Family is my biggest influence. I never forget the sight and smells of these family dinners. When we get together, we feast. It's our way of showing our love for each other. How I eat with my family not only influences my taste, it's a part of my identity and everything I do.
