Crab Dance Share

This is the hallway outside metals. We are dancing like crabs. ...This is a good example of post-working-for-a-long-time shenanigans. We're silly.

Nice inspiration resides right across the street at the Arnold Arboretum. I try and bring some qualities of the outdoors inside whenever possible.

While working on a branding assignment I was looking at various typeface choices for my logotype. In the background is marble paper made in typography three when learning about book design. Sketchbook pile also in background.

My Studio Share

This is my senior year studio. I am here more than my actual house...it has everything I need and provides me with a creative space to create my art.

My Studio Space Share

As a film/video major, I don't have a set studio space; we have an area for film editing and equipment, and another (the entire 7th floor of the Tower building) to work on video and digital media.

This is my studio in the Fibers department! You can see a bunch of my current work on the walls, and my adorable sewing machine :)

Silly bench time Share

The Jewelry and Metals major is a pretty small, close-knit one. We spend a lot of time in studio together and get up to shenanigans after we've all been there a long time.

this is a shot of my installation, "Hypersleep," before it was finished. Definitely the biggest, most sculptural work I've done so far!

I don't mind a small, cluttered space - I like a lot of materials within arm's reach.

This is where it all happens. I don't have a studio yet at the printshop, so for the time being I do some of my creating in my room.

I work mainly in two places: an upholstery shop and my studio space at school. This is a piece of mine at the upholstery shop I work at.

My studio is my second home. I keep some of my favorite projects around so I can be reminded of what all that hard work gets me. And unfortunately it is usually messy.

This is a rare clean moment in my space during open studios a couple of years ago. I have shared this studio with a few other MassArt grads since 2007. It is like home to me.

We have four main torches that we use for silver braising, informally known as silver soldering. This is where all of that is done.
