these little displays of semi-fictional shellPhone technologies present a subconscious visual commentary on our cybernetic evolution into the penultimate stage of posthumanity
blinking, embedded lights imply a symbiotic union between the natural-organic found seashells and the virtual-electronic LEDs — these objects seem otherworldly, alien, unreal but slightly humorous — each shellPhone operates sans pesky human interference, perhaps a paranoiac visuoSculptural manifestation, externalizing a fear of machine-to-machine, near field communications — yet ultimately hinting at the world that might live on without us once our wetware intelligence no longer measures up to the power, speed and storage of our electronic communication devices

Sometimes on days we don't have classes, my friends and I go galavanting around the city. Fun times are had.

When I'm not working on projects or in class, I spend my time sketching. I have many plans for my body (in terms of tattooing at least), and one of my greatest inspirations happens to be Frida Kahlo. She is so beautiful and unique. I'll possibly change the portrait in the center, but I am still overall very happy with this design.

Even if we don't go all that often, my friends and I love taking trips to the Arnold Arboretum from time to time. It makes you feel like you're really far from city life and its always a nice quiet place to go take photos or just read and relax.

Every so often I take a train down on the weekend to visit my girlfriend. This weekend, I walked in to find that she had hung up several of my pieces I've made for her!
I feel so loved ;~; <3

Newbury St. is always a fun place to walk with cool stores and awesome little food stands or restaurants. I can't help but stop by Ben&Jerry's or Pinkberry any time I'm in the area :)

When I'm not working, I'm working on getting out of town and seeing something new. This was taken north of Calgary, Alberta where I took a freezing dip in these glacial pools.
