This was taken during a recent trip to the Toy and Miniature Museum in Kansas City. I couldn't begin to imagine what it's like to have the patience to create these tiny items.
During an unplanned trip down the wrong back road of Vermont, I found a house with the front yard covered in birdhouses. I had to stop. Turns out the owners are retired truck drivers and now spend their time making birdhouses out of whatever materials they can find nearby.
